Bulk Scanning Setup

ProcessMaster is capable of processing single and multiple page pdf's that contain barcodes. When you print a field sheet, work order, affidavit, invoice or address search from ProcessMaster these barcodes can be included on those documents. ProcessMaster requires the following setup in order to properly integrate with your copier or desktop scanner.

Windows Computers

Shared drive that your copier/desktop scanner saves scans to

Example:  Your computer has a shared driver letter S: that contains a folder called Bulk Scans. Inside that folder you will need the following folders created (Input, Output, Processed, Error). Your scanner needs to be setup to save the scanned pdf's into the Input folder.


NOTES: 
1. ProcessMaster can only look at 1 folder when processing bulk scanned documents. Therefore if your office has multiple computers each computer must have the same drive letter assigned for the scans folder. 

2. Most copiers/scanners allow you to assign a button to scan to a specific destination. We recommend that on copiers/scanners that support this to add a button called Barcode or Bulk to speed up your office staffs interaction with the copier.

Actual setup of the copier/desktop scanner isn't included in your ProcessMaster license as per our Support Definitions. We do offer this service at an additional service fee
