Post Payment from Client (Multiple Jobs)

1. Go to PM Tasks->Post Payments from Clients

2. Enter the clients name that you are receiving payments for into the Last Name/Firm Name field. Then press enter.

3. Click the client name

NOTE: When you click the client's name ProcessMaster searching for all jobs that meet the following criteria.

 

  • Job is assigned to this client
  • Job has been billed (Date Billed field filled in)
  • Job hasn't been paid (Date Paid field is empty)

 

4. Enter the Payment Method, Payment Amount, Check Number, Check Date and Payment Note if desired.

5. You can then select either all jobs on screen or individual jobs by click the "Click to Mark" button.

 

  • ProcessMaster will track the total value of the selected jobs vs the amount remaining on your payment.
6. When you've completed selecting jobs press the "Post" button.
  • If your remaining payment is greater than 0 then ProcessMaster will ask what you want to do with the remaining payment balance.

NOTE: When you click POST ProcessMaster does the following to each marked job in the background.

 

  • If the applied job payment amount = the total amount due for the job then ProcessMaster fills in the Date Paid field for that job
  • A transaction record is created for each job payment
  • A payment record is created for each entire payment

 

7. After the post is complete ProcessMaster will ask if you want to post a payment for another client. If you click yes then you will be taken back to the Posting Payments screen. If you click no you will be taken back to the OneView screen.
